Vitrovian shines at the PBF Exhibition
The Progressive Business Forum hosted a business programme designed to run alongside the ANC‘s National General Council, 8-11 October this year, with daily breakfast briefings by key Ministers, as well as a Presidential banquet with the President as keynote speaker held on 8 October 2015. Following the breakfasts, panel discussions, moderated and facilitated by Deloitte, were held during the day, where leading businesses addressed and discussed important business issues.
Vitrovian was one of the businesses that were invited to exhibit at this event, enabling representatives to meet debate and promote issues important to their sector and company.
The Vitrovian delegation included the executives namely the Executive Chairwoman, Lindiwe Mtsweni, and the Chief Operations Officer, Norman Mogapi and the Stability and Stakeholder Manager Thembi Bukondo who provided direction for the Vitrovian team .From VAS Tshifhiwa Tshikhudo the Analytical Services lab manager provided indepth knowledge for this scientific field of specialization. The rest of the delegation was made up of Emmanuel Mashego , Duduzile Thelo, Nomakha Nsibande and Majwa Hlotshe who engaged with ANC delegates for the 5 days of the event. The Vitrovian stand was an attractive feature on the exhibition floor drawing visitors in large numbers.
A series of four breakfasts were held from 9, 10, 11 and 12 October on the theme – “The National Development Plan: A partnership between Government and Business”.

Presidential Gala Dinner
Keynote speaker: HE JG Zuma, President of the Republic of South Africa of the African National Congress. Approximately 600 guests attended this prestigious event, held in the Ballroom at Gallagher Estate. Guests included Members of the ANC Leadership, NEC Members, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, the leadership of Parliament, Members of Parliament, Premiers, Mayors; International guests, special guests, members of the Diplomatic Corps, leading South African business representatives, representatives of the media. The Vitrovian delegation had a table at the gala dinner with the executives seated with ANC Leadership networking and building relations .
